MintPage vs the alternatives

Five ways to turn what an AI agent produced into a link someone can open. We compare honestly, including where we lose, because a comparison that always wins isn't worth reading. Figures checked October 2026; vendors change things — their sites are authoritative.

Which one should you use?

Pick dochost if…

you need JavaScript in the page, a password, or a custom domain today. It's the most complete paste-to-link tool and it's cheap.

Pick GitShare if…

the thing you're sharing is a private repo, or you want version history on artifacts and you already live in Claude Code or Cursor.

Pick Gemini Canvas if…

you already work in the Gemini app and want a free public link to a document or a small web page, with no agent integration needed. It's the easiest zero-cost option for humans; it isn't reachable by agents.

Pick ChatGPT Sites if…

you want an interactive app, you're on a paid ChatGPT plan, and your agent is ChatGPT. It isn't a tool other agents can call.

Pick MintPage if…

you want the agent to publish a document safely without a human approving each one: no scripts, strict CSP, link preview cards, three themes, stats from the tool itself, works from any client with a bearer key — and you can try it in one curl without signing up.

What we're honest about

Today, dochost has features we don't: password-protected pages, custom domains, JavaScript. We'll add passwords and domains; we won't add JavaScript, because the point of MintPage is that an agent can publish without anyone checking the page first.

ChatGPT Sites and Gemini Canvas are excellent if your assistant is ChatGPT or Gemini and a human is at the keyboard. They are closed to every other agent, which is the gap MintPage exists for: a publish tool any agent can call, in any workflow, including unattended ones.
